Linda Diamond Shapiro serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System, the nation’s third largest public hospital system, helping prepare the system to leverage opportunity within the new era of health reform. She is particularly focused on making the patient experience an area of system-wide strategic focus, utilizing data, innovative stakeholder partnerships, and a collaborative team approach. Linda brings skills from a career rooted in strategic planning at Access Community Health Network, and previous policy development roles. A long-time resident of Hyde Park, Linda received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Chicago.
