He has contributed to a variety of journalistic publications in English and Spanish, focusing primarily on the history, economic development, and political institutions of Latin America. Outside of the Chicago Policy Review, he is a regular opinion columnist for Colombia's El Nuevo Siglo newspaper and Alternativa magazine, and recently published his first historical fiction novel, "Grandes alamedas: entre el cielo y la tiranía."
