Show BioHide BioDeqa Aden, a Harris alumna, is a Senior Project Officer at Heartland Alliance International, where she oversees the organization’s MENA and SSA grant portfolio. Deqa is an international development practitioner and researcher with field experience, including roles at the World Bank, Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, and the Pearson Institute of the University of Chicago. She has authored papers on behavioral science for development, focusing on contextualizing research methods and building theories rooted in Global South norms. In her free time, she serves as a board member for GirlForward and the Common Good Institute
