Alison Collard de Beaufort

Show BioHide BioAlison is a first-year Master of Public Policy student at the Harris School and is the First-Year Student Representative on Harris Student Government. Prior to coming to UChicago, she worked as a global youth road safety advocate as the founder of the Vision Zero Youth Council, where she contributed to the successful passage of multiple pieces of legislation at the New York State level, created patented technology, and was involved in multiple high-level multilateral events such as U.N. Summits and World Health Summits. As a dual French American citizen, she is passionate about learning about cultures from around the world and learning languages – she speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese and is learning Japanese and Arabic. She hopes to use her degree to support international collaboration on the Sustainable Development Goals and uplifting communities that are often overlooked. In her free time, she loves to paint, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with her friends.
